We Remember
by Rhoy Pamparo on Nov.11, 2008, under Personal Thoughts
Today, November 11, we commemorate Remembrance Day in Canada to remember those who have given their lives in the forefront of the battle fields and to all those who have and are still serving for the benefit of us all.
In Flanders Fields
by: Lt.-Col. John McCraeIn Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
Please take a moment of silence and continue to pray for them. God has dominion over everything, including the conflicts that are happening in our world today.

Hey, can’t believe i missed this and didn’t comment on it— but yeah, this day is one to remember and thank those who have committed themselves to honor in our protection. Canadians are our brothers who prefer a little more snow than us stateside guys
(btw, my Nashville Predators rock!!!)
